About me

I am a practising anesthesiologist in the Northeast. I completed my residency in 2014 and began my trading venture once i became an attending. I am going to share my experiences here and hopefully help you  formulate a plan/strategy for you to use in your trading.

Throughout my profession, I have seen many doctors try trading and made it big/lose it all. Many physicians tried trading in their career and mostly one of the following happens,

  1. Lose it all within a few months and get frustrated and says trading is gambling and never come back.

  2. Lose it slowly over the years and keep on injecting new money to satisfy their ego until one day they stop completely

  3. Make money slowly over the years and have made it a nice extra stream of income.

  4.  Made huge money on a few trades, big enough for them to retire and do trading full time. Extremely rare but they do exist.

I started this website with the whole intention of guiding the physicians to fall into the third group. There is tons of information available on the internet and trading books. What I am going to write here is nothing new but it is going to be a comprehensive one-stop-shop for swing trading.

This site will be useful for Physicians working full/part-time who are willing to learn trading/currently trading and can spend 3-4 hours a week. You will not become a master in swing trading with this website but this will give you a structural framework that you can use to build your own Strategies.

Do I have the holy grail that works every time? – NO

Do I make money in all my trades? – NO

But I have a system that works for me. The key is to keep the winnings big and losses small and that is the only way to make a consistent profit in trading.

In this website, you will see articles related to swing trading and how to eventually come up with your own swing trading plan/strategy.  I will also start posting stock charts with explanations.

I also would like to add that long term investing is far superior to day or swing trading. You know the saying, “ Time in the market beats timing the market”. You should have a portion of your money invested for long term in a fund. But with the right plan and attitude, you can consistently make money and achieve a bigger return with swing trading and that’s what this website is all about
